Services Companion Care

Companion Care & Senior Support

Company, conversation and a hand with everyday life — for people who are managing fine, but managing alone.

Who it's for: Older adults living independently who would benefit from regular company and practical help — and families who worry about isolation.

Common questions

My mother says she does not need help and is not lonely. Is this worth it?

Often the framing is the problem rather than the need. We have had good results starting with something practical and specific — a ride to the grocery store, help with the yard — rather than presenting it as company. The relationship tends to develop on its own from there.

Can the same person come every time?

That is the goal, and for companion care it is the whole point. A rotating cast of strangers is not company. We match carefully and keep the pairing stable.

Can you take her to appointments and tell us how it went?

Yes. Transportation is one of the most requested parts of this service, and keeping the family informed afterwards is part of the job.
