SYNERGY HomeCare of Plainfield is owned by Kyana and Bailey Wilkinson. It exists because of what Kyana learned at fifteen, caring for her father.
When Kyana was fifteen, her father was diagnosed with ALS. She became one of his caregivers — and learned, far earlier than most people do, what it actually takes to look after someone you love at home, and how much difference the right help makes.
That experience set the direction for everything after. She began working as a home care aide for SYNERGY HomeCare in 2013. She became a registered nurse in 2018 and worked in acute care, long-term care and hospice, specializing in geriatrics and rehabilitation.
When she and Bailey moved back toward her Chicago-area home with two boys in tow, they opened SYNERGY HomeCare of Plainfield — an agency run by someone who has been the family member, the aide, and the nurse.
We know what it is like to be the one figuring this out. That is the whole reason we answer the phone at two in the morning.

Kyana began working as a home care aide for SYNERGY HomeCare in 2013, and became a registered nurse in January 2018. She has worked in acute care, long-term care and hospice, specializing in geriatrics and rehabilitation, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
In 2023 she was named one of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce's 20 Under 40 Leaders of Distinction, and received a Career Service Award from Heartland Community College.

Bailey grew up working alongside his father in the family business, selling handcrafted classic fishing lures and tackle across the Midwest. He brings a sales and data analytics background to running the agency.
He is responsible for operations, systems and training — the infrastructure that makes reliable scheduling and consistent caregiver matching possible.

As a Home Services Agency, we provide non-medical adult home care services, including personal care, homemaker and companion services. We do not provide skilled nursing, therapy, or childcare services.
You are welcome at the office on Route 59, or we can come to you. Either way, the first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
